Gladys Lindteigen, age 81, of Cullman, passed from this life on May 1, 2024.
Mrs. Lindteigen was born to Newberry James and Verlie Mills (Wren).
She is preceded in death by her parents;Maxie Mills; daughter, Sherry Annette Whitmire; sister, Elizabeth Yates; brothers, Bud James, and Eugene James.
She is survived by her loving husband of 45 years, Carl Lindteigen; son, Carl Young (Janee Stroh); daughters, Patricia Patzner (Brent, deceased), and Michelle Webb; brothers, Arlin Taylor (Bonnie, deceased), Jimmy Taylor (Cathy, deceased); sisters, Juanita Hudnall (John, deceased), Kitty Dieter (Johnny); grandchildren, Pam, Kris, Tyler, Amanda, Stacie, Kris (deceased), Jackie, Jason (deceased), andJake; an abundance of
great-grandchildren; a host of family and friends.
Gladys was a beautiful soul who loved her family and her church family so much. She loved her puppies too, especially, Rocky, her lab. She loved to garden and can with her husband, Carl, and got so much joy from sharing the fruits of their labor with her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. She was very friendly and kind to all. She will be greatly missed in everyone’s life she touched.
Funeral services for Mrs. Lindtiegen will be held Saturday, May 4, 2024, at 11 a.m. at Center Grove Baptist Church.
She will lie in state on Saturday from 10-11 a.m. at the church; visitation will be held at Cullman Funeral Home chapel on Friday, May 3, 2024 from 6-8 p.m. Interment will be held at Center Grove Cemetery.
