Brenda “Gail” Burden, age 80, of Vinemont, passed away Wednesday, Sep. 13, 2023 at her home surrounded by her loving family. She was born July 17, 1943 in Morgan County, Alabama.
Gail loved traveling with her husband Danny. Her life was her children and grandchildren.
Visitation will be Sunday, Sep. 17, 2023 from 6 p.m. until 9 p.m. at Nichols Funeral Home in Addison. A graveside service will be held Monday, Sep. 18, 2023 at 10 a.m. at Piney Grove Cemetery, Danville. Greg Standridge will officiate.
Gail is survived by her husband of 23 years, Danny Burden; son, Jackie Wayne Stephens; granddaughter, Brittani (Michael) Evans; great granddaughter, Ava Howard; special friend, Cindy (Dewayne) Goodwin; and a host of nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her father, Paschal Evans; mother, Lottie Smith; step father, Red Smith; brother, Howell Evans; great-granddaughter, Jayci Evans; great-grandson, Jack Johnson; and first husband, Marcel Stephens.
