‘Planted’: Link set to host 2nd annual gala
CULLMAN, Ala. – The Link of Cullman County is set to host its second annual gala, “Planted,” on Thursday, Nov. 2, 2023, starting at 6 p.m. at The Venue at Cotton Creek. The event aims to raise funds to continue The Link’s mission of serving individuals in need in Cullman, recognize its volunteers and share impact stories from the clients it serves.
The theme of this year’s gala is “Planted,” a metaphorical homage to the work Executive Director Melissa Betts believes the nonprofit does daily.
“We are planting good seeds daily. We have community partners planting good seeds daily,” she said. “We are looking for more seed planters who can plant, tend, pray and believe for a harvest of goodness. We are planting daily and expecting a bountiful harvest.”
