Frances Marie Pratt Weaver, 84, of Huntsville, formerly of Addison, entered into rest on July 18, 2023 at Brookshire Healthcare Center.
Frances was born on Oct. 27, 1938 in Addison, Alabama to Lesley and Jewell Pratt. She attended Addison High School and was a majorette in the band. Frances was a member of Christian Hope Church, as well as a lifetime member of the V.F.W. She was a devoted homemaker and stay at home mother to her four daughters. Frances was lovingly known as “Granny Franny”.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, July 20, 2023 from 10 a.m. until 11 a.m. at Nichols Funeral Home in Addison, where services will be at 11am. Burial will follow in Fairview Cemetery. Brother Samuel Tucker will officiate.
Frances is survived by her daughters, Darlene Diaz and her husband Israel, Debra Jackson and her husband Alan, Charlotte Rankin and her husband Robert, and Loretta Adkison and her husband Merrill; 10 grandchildren; 30 great-grandchildren; and six great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Alfred Weaver; her parents; and brother, Jimmy Dean Pratt.
