CULLMAN, Ala. – The new Home2 Suites by Hilton Cullman officially opened Monday, July 10, at 5720 Alabama Highway 157. Construction on the hotel began in June 2021.
According to Mansa Hospitality Chief Executive Officer Rupesh Patel, Home2 Suites is the first and only extended stay hotel in Cullman. He said every room has a kitchenette and a sofa sleeper, meeting the needs of corporate guests staying for weeks or months at a time, as well as leisure guests traveling with family.
Patel said the hotel has 101 suites. It also features an outdoor patio with a grill, swimming pool, front porch with a fire pit, fitness center with a Peloton bike, complimentary guest laundry and complimentary Inspired Table breakfast every morning. The hotel conference room is 1,200 square feet, which is the largest in the city of Cullman, according to Patel.
Home2 Suites will have a selection of beer and wine available for purchase from the market. The hotel also offers free Wi-Fi and on-site parking.
According to Patel, there was a push to have the hotel open before Rock the South, which will take place July 20-22 in Cullman. “I would like to say thank you to all the city officials who helped us,” Patel said.
