Cullman man arrested on drug, firearms charges in traffic stop

BERLIN, Ala. — A traffic stop conducted by the Cullman County Sheriff’s Office (CCSO) on June 12 in the Berlin community led to the arrest of a Cullman man on drug and firearms charges.

Deputies stopped a motorcycle driven by Justin Wayne Farr, 32. A subsequent search of Farr and his motorcycle allegedly revealed a firearm and narcotics.

Farr was charged with possession with intent to distribute methamphetamine, possession of dangerous drugs identified as oxycodone and being an ex-felon in possession of a firearm.

Farr was taken into custody without incident and transported to the Cullman County Detention Center. He posted a $50,000 bond on June 14 and was released pending further legal proceedings.

Further details about the traffic stop, or Farr’s previous convictions, have not been released. The investigation is ongoing.
