Herbert Hoover Ingle, 89, of Double Springs, entered into rest on Monday, May 29, 2023 at his home surrounded by his loving family.

Herbert was born on Febr. 7, 1934 in Winston County, Alabama to Isham Ingle and Lillian Bice Ingle. He loved to ride horses and coon hunt. He also enjoyed attending church and sitting on the bench at Chevron talking to friends and greeting everyone else. He enjoyed spending time with his family and said he was blessed to have a big family.

Herbert loved to sit on his swing under the shade tree to pass the time. There were many people that loved him and called him Pawpaw that weren’t related to him. He loved going to Jack’s every morning and shooting the bull with whoever came in to eat with him. He will truly be missed by everyone.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, May 31, 2023 from 12 p.m. until 2 p.m. at Henryfield Methodist Church in Ashridge Community. Burial will follow in the adjoining cemetery. Brother Danny Page and Brother John McCullar will officiate.
