HANCEVILLE, Ala. –The Hanceville Rodeo is back, set for Saturday, June 10, 2023, with gates opening at 5 p.m. and all the action beginning at 7.
This year’s rodeo will be bigger than ever before, with bigger names in bull riding and the lively addition of bronc competitions; seating has also been expanded, so more people can attend the show and see the bulls buck and mud fly.
The event will also feature a variety of food trucks and other entertainment options, like mechanical bull riding, axe throwing and more.
Hanceville Parks and Recreation Director David Wasilewski expressed his enthusiasm for the event, saying, “We had a great turnout last year, and we are expecting an even larger crowd this year! We’ve expanded the show to include more than just bulls; we’re bringing broncs to the mix. With a bigger arena, we’ve been able to increase the seating capacity to accommodate everyone. It’s a great way to spend a Saturday night with your family and friends.”
Discounted tickets for the rodeo are on sale now at Hanceville City Hall. Adult tickets are $15 at the gate and $12 pre-sale, children (age 5-11) are $10 at the gate and $8 pre-sale.
Children 4 and younger are free.
