Oscar “Chuck” Steadham, Sr., 84, of Hanceville, passed away on Monday, April 24, 2023. He was born December 4, 1938 in Brewton, Alabama.
He is survived by his son, Chuck (Diane) Steadham; daughters, Sherri (Wes) McGaha, Robin (Richard) Rutherford and Leah (Fred) Miller; sister, Mary Huber; grandchildren, Ryan (Rachel) Steadham, Sean Steadham, Randi Rutherford, Shannon (Gary) King, Norah Miller and Hayden Edenfield; four great-grandchildren; a host of nieces and nephews and longtime companion, Beth Reid.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Robert H. Steadham and Lorena C. Steadham.
The funeral service will be held on Friday, April 28, 2023 at 2 p.m. at Moss Service Funeral Home; burial will follow in Cullman City Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Friday from 1 p.m. until 2 p.m.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in memory of Chuck to the American Cancer Society.
