Obituary: Starla Renee Weaver

Funeral services for Starla Renee Weaver, of Hanceville, will be 2 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 18 at New Prospect Missionary Baptist Church. Burial will follow in the adjoining cemetery. Mrs. Weaver will lie in repose at the church on Saturday from 1 p.m. until 2 p.m. Clint Reeves will be officiating the service. Visitation for the public will be on Friday, Feb. 17from 6 p.m. until 9 p.m. at Hanceville Funeral Home.

Mrs. Weaver was born on March 2, 1976 in Corona, California. She passed away at her residence in Hanceville, Alabama on Feb. 10, 2023.

Survivors include her loving husband, John Weaver; mother, Shirley Richards; mother-in-law, Diann Weaver; father-in-law, Winfred Weaver; daughter, Brandi Dingler; sons, Ryan Weaver and Josh Thibodeaux; daughters-in-law, Stephanie Weaver and Katelin Thibodeaux; grandchildren, Ezekiel Dingler, Kohen Dingler, Kaiden Thibodeaux, Sadie Weaver, Serenity Thibodeaux, Raelynn Thibodeaux, and Kyleigh Thibodeaux; siblings, Shirlene Landry, Michael Walser, David Walser, Ailene “Babs” Manion, Matt (April) Weaver and Clinton Weaver; a host of loving cousins, nieces and nephews; and dear friends, Christine Spinks, Cassie Overton, Ashley Sansing, Allison Fossett, James Larry Dingler Sr., and Randall Hosmer.

Mrs. Weaver was preceded in death by her son, James Larry Dingler Jr., and father, Lennuel Richards.
