FCCLA County Pork Cook-off

CULLMAN, Ala. – On Jan.10, 2023, students from the various city and county schools met at the Alabama Farm Credit headquarters in Cullman for the FCCLA County Pork Cook-off.  

Aleana Brantley from Good Hope placed first, Madison Kovar from Fairview placed second, Abigail Whitehead from Holly Pond placed third, Maegann Dingler from CATA placed fourth and Leighann Quinn from Cold Springs placed fifth.  

Lydia Haynes and Terri Gilley from the Women’s Committee helped with the cook-off and awards.  

Participating sponsors and schools included Stephanie Blair from Cold Springs High School, Amie Veal from the Cullman Area Technology Academy, Carin Rains from Cullman High School, Whitney Haynes and Brittany Freeman from Fairview High School, Amanda Williams from Good Hope High School, Amy Chambers from Hanceville High School and Renee Lee and Madison Ballard from Vinemont High School. 

The Cullman County Farmers Federation Women’s committee and the Alabama Farm Credit sponsored the event.
