Fred Riley Guthrie, 68, of Double Springs, entered into rest on Tuesday, Jan. 10, 2023 at his residence.
Fred was born on February 18, 1954, in Winston County, Alabama.
Visitation will be held on Friday, Jan. 13, 2023, from 11 a.m. until 1 p.m. at Nichols Funeral Home in Double Springs, where services will be at 1 p.m. Burial will be at Center Cemetery in Lawrence County. Brother Danny Page will officiate.
Fred is survived by his brothers, William Guthrie, and Johnny Guthrie; sister-in-laws, Wanda Honeycutt and Teresa Guthrie; brother-in-law Donald Hamack; nieces, Stephanie Worrick, Victoria Self, and Jenny Guthrie; nephews, Don Hamack, Bryan Hamack, and Jeremy Guthrie; great nieces, Alyssa Worrick, and Sophia Self; great nephews, Zen Self, and Rowan Self.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Buen and Lynell Guthrie; brother, Roy Guthrie; and sister, Dorothy E. Hamack; sister-in-law, Dawana Guthrie.
