Iva Jean Smith, 82, of Arley entered into rest on Wednesday, Sept. 14, 2022, at Lakeland Community Hospital.
Iva was born on Sept. 26, 1939, in Winston County, Alabama.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, Sept. 17, 2022, from 10-11 a.m. at Nichols Funeral Home in Addison, where services will be at 11 a.m. Brother Steton Hayes will officiate.
Iva is survived by her daughters: Marilyn Buchanan and her husband William, and Jo Vandiver; son: Brian Smith; grandchildren: Kathryn Walker, Brandon Keaton and his wife Emily, Joseph Quinn, Alex Davis and his wife Britney, Destiny Bullis, and Jennifer Smith; and a host of great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband: Junior Smith; son: Joel Robert Smith; daughter: Teresa Smith; grandson: Christopher Skelton; parents: Udorse and Amzona Vandiver; brothers: Robert Vandiver and Junior Vandiver; and sister: Josephine Garrison.
