CULLMAN – Hospice of Cullman County’s MEGA Cash Draw Down, its largest annual fundraiser, will be held on Thursday, July 21 at 6 p.m. in Cullman Regional Medical Center’s Colonel Cullmann Room, located in the Community Education Center in Professional Office Building II. This year’s event will feature a chance to win $10,000, and guests will also enjoy dinner, door prizes and more.

Dinner will be served to ticket holders at 5:30 p.m. with the MEGA Cash Draw Down beginning promptly at 6 p.m.

The event will feature wonderful prizes and auction items, including a five-night stay in a two-bedroom unit at High Chalet Condos in Gatlinburg, Tennessee, as well as the annual cake auction.

Tickets cost $100 each; however, this year, ticket holders can add $25 insurance to their ticket, which allows the ticket to have a second chance at the grand prize. As an added bonus, ticketholders who attend the event will have a chance to win additional cash prizes of $500 and $1,000.  All monies raised will fund indigent patient care.

This year’s meal will feature pulled smoked BBQ chicken with baked beans, slaw and roll accompanied by dessert, courtesy of Morrison’s Food Service.

Tickets for the Draw Down can be purchased from the Hospice of Cullman County office located at 1912 Alabama Highway 157, POB I, Second Floor — or can be purchased from one of the following Hospice Board Members: Frances Cooper, Wendell Copeland, Peggy Doss, Nell Dunlap, Martha Hart, Blanche Kent, Clara Kent, Mike Manning, Emily Johnston, Bill Oliver, Greg Picogna, Lori Tafazoli, Amy Walker or Randy Weathersby.
