I would first like to offer my prayers to the families of the five officers who gave their lives in Dallas protecting others and also those seven who were wounded in the line of duty.
As a member of law enforcement I am angered with the negative tone that is set by Obama and his administration against law enforcement. They are quick to judge the decisions of law enforcement but never judge the actions of those who commit acts of violence against law enforcement.
As Sheriff of Cullman County I am very proud of our local law enforcement deputies and officers. It's a privilege to live in a community that overwhelmingly supports local law enforcement and where our deputies are often told daily how much they are appreciated.
