CULLMAN – Mark your calendars. From 4-7 p.m. on Thursday, July 14, Augusta’s Sports Grill will host a spirit night for the Good Hope Raiders Fishing Team in order to raise money for the team to travel to and compete in the B.A.S.S. National Championship.

“We are really happy we could do it,” said Augusta’s Kitchen Manager Josh Veres. “We grew up in Cullman County and we are thrilled to help out the community any way we can.”

Prizes will be given out throughout the night with the grand prize, a rod and reel combo, given away at the conclusion of spirit night.

Good Hope has four fishermen qualified for the B.A.S.S. National Championship. Tucker Putman, Blake Barrett, Cole MacDonald and Kyle Calvert will take part in the huge tournament on Kentucky Lake on Aug. 4-6.

“These boys have worked very hard to get to this point and hopefully they can pull off a win for their community,” said Tanya Arnold, wife of Good Hope Assistant Fishing Coach Tim Arnold.

This is the last fundraiser to get the talented Good Hope fishermen to Kentucky, so come out and support a good cause while enjoying some great food from Augusta’s!
