A graveside service for Mildred Louise Bennett, 93, of Cullman will be 11:00 a.m. Friday, June 3, 2022, at Oakwood Memorial Cemetery located at 2100 Moncrief Rd, Gardendale, Alabama.

Mrs. Bennett passed from this life on May 31, 2022, at the Cullman Regional Medical Center. She was born August 19, 1928, to Olon Gaines and Sally Bice Tucker. She was a homemaker who loved her family, her dogs, sweets and coffee. She watched Dawson Memorial services every Sunday morning.
Mrs. Bennett was preceded in death by her parents: Olon Gaines and Sally Bice Tucker; her husband: George Bennett; brothers: Melvin, Don, Olon, Pat and Crix and sisters: Gloria, Willie, Emerson and Ella Jane.
She is survived by her daughter: Leigh Hempfling; brothers: Fred (Helga) Tucker; brother-in-law: Claude Vaughn; sister-in-law: Betty Tucker; grandchildren: Paige (Justin) Thurman, Regan (Luis) Jarquin, Ben Hempfling and Piper Hempfling; great-grandchildren: Lucy Thurman, Noelia Jarquin and Enrique Jarquin and a host of family and friends.
