Jewell Nell Bailey, 79, of Fultondale, formerly of Houston passed away May 27, 2022 at North Hill Nursing Home.
Jewell was born December 5, 1942. She loved gardening, was a lifelong Christian and child of God.
A visitation will be held Thursday, June 2, 2022 from 5:00 p.m. – 6:00 p.m. at Nichols Funeral Home in Addison, with services to follow. A graveside service will be held on Friday, June 3, 2022 at 10:00 a.m. at Burdick’s Cemetery in Houston, Alabama. Brother Kenneth Sudduth will be officiating.
Jewell is survived by her daughter: Pam Aviles; grandchildren: Chad Lewis, Marc Lewis, Laura Pigg and Brody Bailey; great-grandchildren: John Lewis, Madison Lewis, Kate Lewis and Zac Lewis; siblings: Kathleen Smith and Betty Ledbetter and a host of nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her son: Royce Bailey; parents: Ray and Laura Walker and siblings: Clyde Walker, Jimmy Walker, Tommy Walker, Linda Walker and Ethel Walker.
