WEST POINT, Ala. – The Miss West Point Rodeo Queen was crowned Saturday night at the 38th Annual West Point Band Boosters Rodeo hosted by the Double Creek Rodeo Company and Southern Professional Rodeo Association at the Cullman Agricultural Trade Center. The contestants participated in private interviews on March 3 before the pageant began at Cullman First Baptist. The contestants then showcased their horsemanship on Saturday morning. Each contestant ages 5-18 brought a silent auction item and gave a 30-45 second speech about the item. The Miss contestants (19-26) gave a 2–3-minute speech on the topic “Everyday Heroes.” The auction raised $1,130 to help the pageant grow next year.
