Michael R. Evans, age 70, of Cullman, Alabama passed away on Tuesday, January 25, 2022. Michael was born March 28, 1951 in Birmingham, Alabama to Ruben and Catherine Basinger Evans.
He is preceded in death by his parents and granddaughter: Kamryn Greer Chamblee.
Mr. Evans worked for and retired from Alabama power. He was very active in the Volunteer Fire Departments.
Funeral services are Friday, January 28, 2022 at 2:00 p.m. at Moss Service Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Ron Collett and Rev. Jeremy Calloway officiating. Interment will follow services in Bethlehem East Cemetery in Hanceville Alabama.
Survivors are wife: Brenda Singleton Evans; daughter: Brandy Evans (Corey) Gibbs; son: Michael (Brittani) Evans Jr.; sisters: Sandra Greenwood and Marilyn (Kevin) Porter; brother: Glenn (Debbie) Evans Sr. and grandchildren: Anna (Weston) Bonner, Taylor Trevarthen, Kade Chamblee, Jonlyn Gibbs, Sydney Wilkins, Dylan Evans Dyer, Lee Ann Evans, Cole Evans, Chris Evans, Mira King, Jaycie Evans and Ava Howard.
Pallbearers will be Glenn Evans Sr., Glenn Evans Jr., Pete Tunner, Butch Singleton, Corey Gibbs and Mark Trevarthen.
Visitation is Friday, January 28, 2022 from 1:00 p.m. – 2:00 p.m. at Moss Service Funeral Home.
