CULLMAN – The Cullman City Police Department and the Cullman County Department of Human Resources are investigating the suspicious death of a 12-month-old boy.
On May 29, 12-month-old James Lee Sanson of Cullman was taken to Cullman Regional Medical Center by private vehicle. The child was in cardiac arrest when he arrived at the hospital and was soon transferred to Children’s of Alabama in Birmingham. Sanson remained at Children’s until the time of his death on the afternoon of May 31.
There is an investigation being conducted by the CPD and the DHR into the child’s suspicious death.
