Frederick” Freddy” William Nothdurft, age 73, of Cullman, Alabama passed away on Thursday, November 11, 2021. Frederick was born March 17, 1948 in Cullman Alabama to Fred William and Nettie Rose Schlosser Nothdurft.
He was a veteran of the United States Army and served in Germany. He worked at The Cullman Fire and Rescue Department and retired as a Captain.
He is preceded in death by his parents and a grandchild: Meagan Hosch.
Funeral services are Sunday November 14, 2021 at 2:00 p.m. at Moss Service Funeral Home Chapel with Dr. Edwin Hayes officiating. Interment will follow services at Cullman Memory Gardens. Survivors are wife of 54 years: Kay Owens Nothdurft; daughter: Jennifer (Bo) Speer; sons: Lee (Paula) Hosch and Chris (Brandi) Nothdurft; brother: Ted (Debbie) Nothdurft; grandchildren: Alex (Dakota) Massey, Eli Speer, Cassidy Speer, Brooklyn Nothdurft Haley Baugh and Miranda Holland; great-grandchildren: Kensie and Kelsea Massey, Bailee Martin and Tinslee Likos and Sawyer Alpin.
Visitation is Sunday, November 14, 2021 at Moss Service Funeral Home from 12:00 p.m. until service time at 2:00 p.m.
