CULLMAN, Ala. – Reliance Worldwide Corporation, based right here in Cullman, is a renowned company with over 70 years of innovation experience. RWC continuously creates breakthrough new products for consumers. They are a global provider of water control systems and plumbing solutions for domestic, commercial and industrial applications.
The company has a brand new 600,000 sq ft. distribution center that will soon be opening in Cullman. Director of Cullman Economic Development Agency Dale Greer notes, “RWC is a world class manufacturer, and it is exciting to see them expanding again in Cullman. Construction of the new distribution center will create opportunity for even more capital investment and new jobs in our community. We are honored Cullman was selected for the state-of-the-art facility and look forward to strengthening the community partnership with RWC.”
RWC is currently looking for new employees to join their family at the new facility. RWC employees should be creative and efficient, bringing fresh ideas to the table. A job fair will be held on Thursday, Nov. 4from 9:30 a.m. – 4:30 p.m. at the new distribution center in Cullman. The center will be hiring for several different roles: Team Leaders, Machine Operators and Material Handlers. On-the-spot interviews will be taking place for direct hire positions.
Some of the perks are:
- A starting rate of $18.00/hr.
- Two weeks of vacation + one week of personal time
- Benefits start the first month after hire
- Immediately vested into 401k program
There will be a staffing agency on-site to hire General Assembly and Lower-Level Warehouse roles. The pay range for these roles is $15.00 – $17.00.
Temporary employees also have the potential for conversion to full-time employment after 30 days.
