CULLMAN COUNTY, Ala. – Fall is finally here and with it are many fun seasonal events! From craft shows to fall festivals, there are a range of things going on around town, for families and friends of all ages.

  • Nightmare in VinemontOct. 22 -23, Oct. 29-30th – A haunted attraction located at the Cullman County Agriculture Center (17645 US-31 Cullman, AL 35058). Opened on the weekends of Oct. 22-23 and 29-30 from 7:00 p.m. – 12:00 a.m. Tickets are $15 for adults and $10 for children 10 and under.
  • Fairview Lions Club Cruise In, Trunk-or-Treat and Free Movie – Oct. 23rd – Hosted at the barn on the left just past Chesley Oaks Golf Course, 8575 Highway 69 North in Fairview. The cruise in starts at 4:00 p.m. and the movie will be at dark, around 7:30. Concessions will be sold with the proceeds going to a needy family in the community.   • Cullman Police Department 2021 Trunk or Treat – Oct 27th – The Cullman Police Department announced they would be having their 2021 Truck or Treat Halloween event on October 27 from 5:30 p.m. – 7:30 p.m. On location, there will be police cars, firetrucks, a DJ, Halloween candy and games for all in attendance.
  • Falkville Police Department’s Annual Trunk-or-Treat – Oct 28th – Everyone is invited, and Halloween costumes are encouraged! Event time is 5:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m. at Falkville Town Hall.
  • Halloween Drive-Thru – Oct. 29th – The City of Good Hope is hosting a Halloween drive-thru on Friday, Oct. 29 from 2:30 p.m. – 5:30 p.m. and hosted at 135 Municipal Drive, Cullman, Al 35057. Costumes are not required but are strongly encouraged.
  • Halloween Cruise-In and Trunk or Treat at Depot Park – Oct. 30th – Starting at 5:30 p.m. Saturday, Oct 30 at Depot Park, don your costumes for the trunk-or-treat (car decoration encouraged) and check out the car/truck show. There will be a 50/50 cash raffle at 7:30 p.m. This event is free to the public.
  • Cullman Wellness and Aquatic Center Trunk-or-Treat – Oct. 30th – Hosted by the CWAC in their front parking lot, there will be inflatables, music, games and, of course, candy. It will be from 4:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 30th.
  • Cullman Downtown Merchants Association Howl-O-Ween – Oct. 30th – Howl-O-Ween is a pet friendly event and Halloween costume contest on Saturday, Oct. 30 from 5:00 p.m. – 9:00 p.m. at 1st Ave. SE between 3rd and 5th Street. Costumes for both pets and owners are encouraged. The entry fee is $5.00 or a bag of dogfood. There will be carnival rides, games, music, food and plenty of candy. The Cullman Animal Rescue will also be there will several of their furry friends that are up for adoption.
  • 5th Annual St. Bernard Blues & BBQ – Oct. 30 – 31st – Hosted on the grounds of St. Bernard Abbey and Prep School, this event will feature artisan vendors from across the southeast, live music, giveaways, trick-or-treating for the kids and of course, plenty of barbeque, ribs, hamburgers etc. Festival times will be 9:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. on Sat. and 9:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. on Sun.   • The Refuge Fall Festival – Oct. 31 – Event time is 6:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. at The Refuge Church (1115 US Hwy 278 E. Cullman, AL 35055)
  • Redeeming Grace Church Trunk or Treat – Oct. 31st – Redeeming Grace (7549 County Road 222) is hosting a trunk or treat event for all ages on Sunday, Oct. 31st from 4:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m. stop by for lots of popcorn and candy.
  • Cullman County Veterans Celebration – Nov. 6th – Hosted by Cullman Elks Lodge at Veterans Park at Sportsman Lake. This year’s event will be from 9:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m. and will include an antique/classic car and tractor show, military vehicle, and aviation displays (including a Green Maverick), live music, vendors and free food available for veterans and their spouses.   • Trunk or Treat at the Station – Oct. 31st – Joppa Volunteer Fire Department (15437 AL Hwy 69, AL 35087. 5:00 p.m. – 9:00 p.m.
  • LifeChurch Fall Festival – Join us in celebrating the fall season with community, friends, and family! Trunk or treats, food truck, hourly prizes, inflatable, games and more. Oct. 24th from 6:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m.
  • Bouncer’s Fall Festival of Lasers and Lights – every Thursday, Friday, and Saturday night in October. Gate opens at 6:00 p.m. and closes at 9:00 p.m. There is a $5 entrance fee, which includes light show (3 and under free). Tickets will be sold for additional activities. Show times for the light show: 7:30 p.m., 8:15 p.m., 9:00 p.m. (Exception weather permitting. Closed on Saturday October 30th. Open on October 31st.) Location is 9520 US-31 South Hanceville, AL 35077
  • Church at the Well’s Light the Night – October 31st – 5:30 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. 708 9th Street SE Cullman, AL 35055
  • Emeus Baptist Church’s Trunk or Treat – October 30th, 6:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m., 2246 County Rd 831 Logan, AL 35098
  • Pick of the Patch Fall Festival at Lifespring Baptist Church – October 30th, 5:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m. Free pumpkins, trunk or treat, scott dogs, inflatables, and more. 300 1st Ave NW Arab, AL 35016
  • The Haunted Woods – Oct. 1st – Oct. 31st, every Thursday 7:00 p.m. – 10:00 p.m., Friday and Saturday 7:00 p.m. – 12 a.m. Last week of October open Monday – Thursday 7:00 p.m. – 10:00 p.m., Friday – Sunday 7:00 p.m. – 12:00 a.m. (172 County Rd 536 Hanceville, AL 35077)
  • Trunk or Treat – October 30th, 6:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m., Branded By Christ Cowboy Church at 1271 County Rd 623 Hanceville, AL 35077. Inflatables for the kids!
  • Dead End Haunted Trail – Kids 10 and under get in free, plus free candy! Open every Friday and Saturday night in October, as well as Halloween night. Opens at dark and closes when the last group leaves. Admission is one item per every two people of canned food (in date) or one toy (worth $5 or more and gently used) for more information call Angelia – 256-838-1951, or Katelin – 256-615-5846.
  • Trunk or Treat – Renovation Church on October 30th at 6:00 p.m., rain or shine.
  • First Baptist Church of Cullman – FirstFest on October 27th at 6 p.m. Admission is free and features Master Illusionist Jared Hall
  • Daystar Church – Fall Festival on October 31. Services will be at 8:30 a.m., 9:45 a.m., and 11:15 a.m. with the festival taking place between services and throughout.
  • Seventh St Baptist Church Preservation Committee – Drive-Thru FallFest, October 31st, 6:00 p.m. – 7:30 p.m., free admission.
  • First Church of the Nazarene – Holy Ghost Trunk or Treat on October 31st, 5 p.m. – 6:30 p.m. Admission is free and Augusta’s Food Truck and the Sno Cone Truck will be on site.
  • Cullman Church of Christ Trunk or Treat – October 30th, 5:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m.
  • Trunk or Treat at Redeeming Grace Church – October 31st, 4:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m., free admission, located at 7549 County Rd 222.
  • Hanceville Homeschool Meetup Fall Festival – October 21 – Featuring food, games and more! Best costume, best chili and best trunk contests for all homeschoolers! 5:00 p.m. at Old Livingston Tabernacle I-65 North to Exit 291. Go right off the ramp onto 91 toward Hanceville. The Livingston Tabernacle is on the right at Mile Marker 23.
  • Hartselle Parks and Rec present the Pumpkin Float 2021 – Pumpkin Float 2021 will take place at the Sparkman Park Pond. Pumpkins will float at 6:30 p.m. The movie, Hocus Pocus, will begin at 7:00 p.m. Be sure to bring a lawn chair or blanket to sit on during the movie. Register and pay online at hartselle.recdesk.com or in person at Sparkman Civic Center no later than October 22. Registration is $15 per pumpkin.
