Obituary: Nadine Eady Page

Funeral service for Nadine Eady Page, 92, of Crane Hill, Alabama will be 12 p.m., Saturday, July 31, 2021 at Mt. Hope Baptist Church in Crane Hill, Alabama.  Visitation will be 10:00 a.m. – 12 p.m. prior to the service.  The interment will follow in the adjoining cemetery. Rev. Gary Gates will officiate the service.

Mrs. Page passed from this life on July 28, 2021 at Woodland Village.  She was born December 23, 1928 to Early and Effie Wood Eady.  She was a member of Mt. Hope Baptist Church. In her earlier years, she was a homemaker and then, Dowling Headstart Teacher’s aide.

She was preceded in death by her husband: Nolen Page; her parents: Early and Effie Eady and a grandson: T. J. Tucker.

Mrs. Page is survived by her daughters: Myra (Darrell) Fell, Teresa (Randy) Young, Anita (Ronald) Bailey and Sheila Page; sister: Mildred Edmondson; grandchildren: Tony (Ashley) Fell, Jamie Tucker, Kevin (Xiaoli) Young, Kara (Jared) Ibrahim, Shannon (Adam) Armstrong, Seth (Britney) Bailey and Scotty Bailey; 14 great-grandchildren: Sylvia Tucker, Andrew Tucker, Jonathan Fell, Patton Brook Fell, Baileigh Armstrong, Bryce Nolan Armstrong, Zev Young, Emma Chase Mathis, Izaiah Ibrahim, Ryden Young, Tretty Bailey, Kyla Ibrahim, Ruby Kate Bailey and unborn grandchild: Harriston Bailey; great-great-grandchild: Trevor Groves.

We would like to thank the following people:  special caregiver Carolyn York, caring neighbors, The Moons (Joel, Margaret, Frankie and Dallas) and Danny and Tiffany Wolford; Dr. James and his staff for providing care and love to mother; The Alabama Home Care and Home Health for helping us keep mother at home as long as we could; The Woodland Village Nursing Home and Comfort Care for the excellent care provided and also, for loving her and treating her like your family.
