It’s Official! Former City Council President Woody Jacobs to Run for Mayor

CULLMAN – Although the deadline for formal announcements is not until July 5, former Cullman City Council President Woody Jacobs has announced his intention to run for mayor of the City of Cullman.

"I just wanted to let you know so the word could get out that I am going to run for mayor of Cullman this year," said Jacobs in a call to CullmanSense/The Cullman Tribune Tuesday morning.

Incumbent Max A.Townson is planning to run for re-election. 

We will bring you more on these two mayoral candidates, as well as Cullman City School Board candidates and others as they make their announcements.

The municipal election is August 23, 2016.
