BIRMINGHAM, Ala. — Participation in angling has hit new highs in the past year, and a new public use pavilion built by skilled volunteers from the Union Sportsmen’s Alliance as part of an Alabama Power and B.A.S.S. conservation partnership is offering a much-needed place for organizations to hold their weigh-ins, from local bass clubs to the largest tournaments. Join B.A.S.S., Alabama Power, Union Sportsmen’s Alliance and ADCNR along with dignitaries from across the state on the shores of beautiful Lewis Smith Lake for a ceremony dedicating this new pavilion just minutes before it hosts young anglers from across the state at the exciting weigh-in for an Alabama B.A.S.S. Nation High School tournament.
