Memorial services for Billy Jack James, 82, of Cullman, Alabama will be held Sunday, May 16, 2021 at 2:30 p.m. at the Cullman Seventh-day Adventist Church on Golf Course Road. Pastor Vlad Climaco will be officiating.
He was born to Bee James and Estelle Parker James on March 22, 1939. He passed peacefully March 29, 2021 at his home.
Mr. James retired from the United States Army as a Sergeant First Class in 1978 and worked in various trades in the years that followed. He enjoyed fishing and wood working but most of all, he loved whipping up desserts in the kitchen. He was a long-time member of the Seventh-day Adventist Church.
Survivors include his wife: Dianne Braswell James; his two children: Bill James (Darcy) and Laura Baker (Ted); his grandson: Cole James; his sister: Betty Shikle and several nieces and nephews.
Mr. James was preceded in death by his parents and his brother: Bobby Ray James.
