CULLMAN, Ala. – After defeating Grissom on the road 2-1 Monday night, the Cullman Lady Bearcats returned home to Oliver Woodard Stadium for a ranked battle with Huntsville and after a scoreless first half, the Lady Panthers were able to net a pair of late goals to pull ahead and defeat Cullman 2-0.

The Lady Bearcats made a push early when Jeta Falcon ripped a goal into the back right corner of the net but an offsides call took the goal off the board and left the game scoreless at halftime. Huntsville was the first team to get on the board and took a 1-0 lead with just over 17 minutes remaining in the game. An offsides call wiped out another Lady Panthers goal but they managed to get one more in the back of the net with just under three minutes left on the clock to complete a 2-0 win over Cullman.

The Lady Bearcats will look to bounce back from the loss next Monday night when they host an area matchup against the Hartselle Lady Tigers.
