Funeral service for James Howard ‘Jimmy’ Howse, 82, of Sardis will be at 1 p.m., Tuesday, April 6, 2021 at Sardis Baptist #2 Church with interment in the family cemetery. Rev. Tim Box and Rev. Steton Hayes will officiate. Visitation will be Monday evening at the church from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. and on Tuesday from 12 noon until 1 p.m. before the service.

Mr. Howse passed away Friday, April 2, 2021, at his residence surrounded by his family. He was born October 11, 1938, to Howard & Opal Juanita Lance Howse. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather. At one time he was a charter boat captain of the “Sea Ghost”.
He was preceded in death by his parents and a sister, Carol Howse.
Survivors include his wife of over 60 years, Patricia Howse; sons, Jeff (Linda) Howse, Glen (Leigh Ann) Howse, Greg (Wanda) Howse, Patrick (Cherish) Howse; adopted son, Allin White; sister, Verby Burton; grandchildren, Justin (Kayla) Howse, Alena Howse, Colt Howse, Kason Howse, Abby Howse; great-grandson, Landon Howse; and a host of family and friends.
