Funeral Service for Edward Earl Savage, age 85, of Cullman, will be at 11 a.m. on Monday, April 5, 2021, at Cullman Heritage Funeral Home with Jeffrey Folds officiating; interment will be in the Alabama National Cemetery in Montevallo at 2 p.m. Visitation will be from 10 a.m. until 11 a.m. prior to the service.
Cullman Heritage Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Mr. Savage served 31 years in the USAF and 19 years in civil service.
Mr. Savage passed away on Wednesday, March 31, 2021, at Cullman Regional. He was born January 10, 1936, to James Elgin and Nellie Mae Savage.
He was preceded in death by his parents; son, Michael Edward Savage; two sisters; and four brothers.
Survivors include his wife, Irene Savage; daughter, Marie (Randy) Folds; son, Douglas (Dawn) Savage; daughter, Darla (Chip) O’Brian; grandchildren, Jeremy (Johanna) Folds, Jennifer (Steven) Massey, Jeffrey (Shauna) Folds, Benjamin (Angelina) Savage, and Justin Savage; thirteen great-grandchildren; three sisters; and three brothers.
