Annelies M. Griffith, age 70, of Remlap, was born on October 30, 1945 in Arolsen, Germany and passed away on April 6, 2016, at a local hospital. Mrs. Griffith was a member of the Pleasant Mount Baptist Church. She received a Master’s Degree in Accounting from the University of Belgium. Mrs. Griffith was predeceased by her parents, Georg and Hanna Janmaat Sollner and a sister, Astrid Davis.
Survivors include: her husband, Coy E. Griffith; a son, Coy C.C. and wife, Kerry Griffith, all of Pine Mountain; three grandchildren, Nicholas, Ethan and Aiden Griffith; a brother, Hans Sollner, of Noordwijkt, Netherlands and a host of nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at Pleasant Mount Baptist Church, on April 11, 2016, beginning at 2 p.m. Reverend Glenn Bynum and Reverend Bud Swindall officiated. Burial was at Pleasant Mount Cemetery. Lemley Funeral Home was in charge.
