North Alabama Agriplex kicks off 2021 adult and children’s programs

CULLMAN, Ala. – The North Alabama Agriplex’s 2021 public program schedule is now set with many in-person and virtual programs scheduled for all ages. Register for programs at www.agriplex.org.

Kid programs

Little Farmers Preschool Program

This program is for children ages 3-5 (accompanied by an adult). Each month’s class is from 10-11 a.m. and cost $5 per child. Pre-registration is required.

  • 20- Farmer’s Market
  • 10- The Very Hungry Caterpillar
  • 8- Pumpkins
  • 12- Turkey Talk 
  • 10- Santa’s Workshop

Farm Kids Club

This program is for kids ages 5 and older (accompanied by an adult). Each month’s class is  from 9-10:30 a.m. and costs $5 per child. Pre-registration is required.

  • May 1- Mother’s Day Planters
  • June 5- Garden to Table Cooking
  • July 10- Make & Take Worm Bins
  • 4- County Fair Crafts
  • 2- Pumpkin Patch

  • 4- Winter Crafts

Heritage Homeschool

This program is for homeschoolers (kindergarten and up) once a month. Students will be divided into older and younger age groups with parents expected to assist their children. Each month’s class is from 9-11 a.m. and costs $8 per child (Max cost of $16 per family). Pre-registration is required.

Living Landscapes

This monthly educational series for adults offers information about sustainability in your own backyard. All programs are $5 per person and start at 6 p.m. unless otherwise noted. Pre-registration is required.

  • June 22- Succulents- Make and Take ($15)
  • July 20- Permaculture: Creating Edible Ecosystems
  • 31- Growing Berries and Grapes

Heritage Skills

This monthly series provides the opportunity to learn heritage skills passed down through generations. All programs are $5 person and begin at 6 p.m. unless otherwise noted. Pre-registration is required.
