Theaford L. Martin, age 55, died on March 27, 2016, at his Pinson residence. He was born in Hamon, Indiana. Mr. Martin was predeceased by his father, Royce Martin, on June 27, 2012 and a granddaughter, Ashlyn Martin.
Funeral services were on April 2, 2016, at Blountsville Funeral Home, at 2 p.m. Reverend Rick Hopkins and Reverend Jerome Mitchell officiated. Interment was at South Cemetery, in Blountsville.
Survivors include: his wife, Nena Hooper Martin, of Pinson; two sons, Daniel Martin and Michael Martin, both of Pinson; a daughter, Christina and husband, Ryan Horton, of Tuscaloosa; a grandchild, Damien Martin; three brothers, Royce E. Martin, Junior, James D. and wife, Nancy Martin and Sandy Dunnaway and his mother, Mildred Martin.
Pallbearers were: Kenneth Barkley, Sam Hansard, Brent Hansard, Kevin Hunt, Jerome Mitchell and Matthew Horn.
