SOUTH VINEMONT, Ala. – Pioneer Bakery in South Vinemont kicked of Valentine’s weekend Saturday morning with a little fun for the kids. Tracy’s Balloons visited the new cafe to twist and assemble colorful and unique balloon creations. Kids weren’t the only ones lining up for one of Tracy Koehler’s handiworks; adults also made requests and had pictures made with her Valentine’s Day balloon display.

Koehler, new to the Cullman area, said she first began making balloon animals 11 years ago when her son, Koehler Marlowe, received a balloon making kit when he was 5 years old. Soon, she and her son began watching YouTube videos about the craft, and her talent blossomed. Marlowe, now 16, still helps his mother.

“I was an activities director at a long-term care facility and my residents really loved the balloons,” said Koehler.

Now, she is hoping to entertain at parties, festivals and special occasions.

Tracy’s Balloons offers balloon twisting, art, photo backgrounds, balloon decor, arches, towers, candy cups, photo hoops and twisting for events and gender reveals. For more information, visit www.facebook.com/Tracys-Balloons-100567318476139, email alainet32@gmail.com or call 404-985-9040.
