CULLMAN – On Saturday, April 16, the Cullman Regional Medical Center Foundation will host its annual gala.  Scheduled for 6 p.m. at the Cullman Civic Center, Reflections Gala XV will honor Mr. Del Brock and Dr. James L. Hoover and will feature a live, silent auction.

“The annual event recognizes individuals who have played a significant role in advancing healthcare for our community through Cullman Regional Medical Center,” said CRMC Foundation President, Champ Crocker.  “We are pleased to announce the H.C. Arnold Humanitarian Award honoree, Mr. Del Brock and Herman C. Ensor physician honoree Dr. Jim Hoover."  The CRMC Foundation will also honor Mrs. Clara Kent with the Spirit of Volunteerism Award.

The CRMC Service Guild members help with the organization of the gala and are led by President Bridgette Warner.  Annual fundraising events like the gala give community members an opportunity to become more involved in local philanthropy.

The event will host live entertainment by The Rock Candy Band and a special dinner catered by Designs by Grace. Tickets for Gala XV are now available for $150 each and reservations are now being accepted. If organizations are interested in table sponsorships they may contact the Foundation office.

“The event is also an opportunity for donations,” said Maria Stanford, executive director of the CRMC Foundation. “Any donations received this year will go to the ‘unrestricted fund,’ which allows for the purchase of new medical equipment and anything that will benefit the hospital.”

The black-tie-optional event is open to the public. The cost to attend is $150 per person.

The gala is the largest fundraiser for the medical center and features a dinner, dance and silent/live auction. It is a volunteer-organized event which raises monies for various programs at CRMC.
