Funeral services for Edward O. McCormick, 86, of Falkville will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 13, 2021 at Cullman Funeral Home Chapel with interment in Roundtop Cemetery; Rev. Steve Brown officiating. Visitation will be Wednesday at the funeral home from noon-2 p.m.
Cullman Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
Mr. McCormick passed away Friday, Jan. 8, 2021 at his residence. He was born Oct. 26, 1934 to Robert Henry and Lula Smith McCormick. He was a member of West Point Baptist Church. He was a 32nd degree Scottish Rite Mason. He was a wonderful golfer, winning many tournaments. Ed lived a remarkable life, had a beautiful testimony and was a follower of Christ.
He was preceded in death by his parents and four brothers.
Survivors include his wife of 60 years, Martha McCormick; sons Mike (Beth) McCormick of GA and Patrick Darin (Christy) McCormick of AL; daughter Toni (Tim) Worlitz of TX; sister Lena Klein of MI; grandchildren Jason (Lindsey) Worlitz, Brian (Hannah) Worlitz, Austin McCormick, and Lauren McCormick; great-granddaughter Lily Worlitz; and a host of nieces, nephews, family, and friends.
