CULLMAN, Ala. – In its weekly COVID-19 update for the community, Cullman Regional reported Wednesday 83 positive patients, with 21 currently on ventilators. The update said Cullman Regional has reported 107 COVID deaths to the Alabama Department of Public Health (ADPH); 80 of those patients who have died were from Cullman County.
According to the ADPH, Cullman County added 41 new confirmed cases of COVID-19 in the last 24 hours, with 4,942 cases confirmed across the county since the beginning of the pandemic. Of those, 1,065 were confirmed in the last 14 days. Statewide, the ADPH reported 3,234 new confirmed cases in the last 24 hours, with 52,036 in the last 14 days.
The ADPH also reported a record high 2,813 patients currently hospitalized across the state.
