Juanita Moore, 93, of Eva passed away Dec. 24, 2020. She was born Feb. 23, 1927 to Oscar and Pananna Dendy Johnson.
After graduating from Eva High, Mrs. Moore worked in the medical records department at the TB Hospital in Flint. She also worked at the Fairview Superette in later years. Mrs. Moore was most recently a homemaker and enjoyed doting over her daughter, granddaughters, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren, all of whom she enjoyed cooking for. Mrs. Juanita adored her family, and they will miss her greatly.
Mrs. Moore is preceded in death by her parents Oscar and Pananna Johnson; husband Joseph “Joe B.” Moore; and her brothers and sisters.
She is survived by her daughter Joanie Moore Burden; granddaughters Tammy Burden and Tara Burden; great-grandchildren Tori Howard, Harley Joe Shoemaker, and Jonlyn Gibbs; and great-great-grandchildren Striker and Baker.
Graveside services for Mrs. Moore are at 11 a.m. Tuesday, Dec. 29, 2020 in Bethel Methodist Church Cemetery, where Mrs. Moore will be laid to rest alongside her beloved Joe B. Friends are invited to join the family at the cemetery.
