William Ronald “Ronnie” Hendon, 73, of Arley entered into rest Wednesday, Dec. 23, 2020 at Cullman Regional Medical Center.
Ronnie was born Oct. 12, 1947 in West Palm Beach, Florida to William Elber and Rutha Mae Holt Hendon. Ronnie loved hunting, fishing, camping and grilling. He loved football, especially Alabama football. He loved watching NASCAR, seeing Bill Elliott and the Earnhardts racing.
Visitation will be held Saturday, Dec. 26, 2020 from noon-2 p.m. at Bethel Baptist Church No. 2 where services will follow at 2 p.m. Brother Mike Tidwell will officiate. Burial will follow in the adjoining cemetery.
Ronnie is survived by his wife Annie Bell Hendon; daughter Liz (Mark) Brannon; son Bart Hendon; grandchildren Lucas (Courtney) Anders, Landon Anders, Lexi Anders, Heather Phillips, Sabrina Phillips, and Hannah Hendon; great-grandchildren Knox, Samantha, Makenzie, and Makayla; sister Gayla Rudd; and a host of nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents Ebb and Rutha Mae Hendon; infant daughter Donna Ann Hendon; and brother-in-law Freddie Rudd.
