In a virtual press conference Tuesday morning, Cullman Regional Chief Medical Officer Dr. William Smith said the hospital is currently treating 61 COVID-19 patients, with 15 on ventilators right now. The hospital’s Critical Care Unit has 12 beds, so additional beds are in use. In all, the hospital has 145 beds, and 139 are occupied.
