HOLLY POND, Ala. – A juvenile was transported to an area hospital for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries following what authorities are calling an accidental shooting inside a residence near Holly Pond Thursday afternoon.
“I can confirm that it was a juvenile. It was ruled an accident,” said Cullman County Sheriff’s Office Communications Director Chad Whaley. “There’s no criminal charges pending.”
Whaley said the weapon was fired by another juvenile in the home.
The sheriff’s office did not release the ages or any other information about the two juveniles.
