Mrs. Glover passed away Monday, Nov. 16, 2020 at Huntsville Hospital. She was born July 23, 1963 to Downs Curtis and Dorothy Janette Bowers.

If you knew Brenda, you knew she loved the Lord. She always had a praise or a prayer on her lips. And you knew she loved her family. Brenda was always by the side of those she loved, offering comfort, organizing a prayer vigil or providing care. She never stopped believing in the goodness of God’s grace and is now receiving her Heavenly reward.

She leaves behind her loving husband Billy Glover; her children Bridget Taylor and Brian Ragsdale; granddaughter Kaitlyn; father- and mother-in-law James and Vivian Glover; siblings Becky Oden, Debbie (Myrtis) Fallin, Darrell (Gail) Bowers, Gary (Shelia) Bowers, Ronnie (Sherry) Bowers, and Tracy (John) Griffin; brothers- and sister-in-law Chad Cargile, Barry Glover, Tracie (Jeff) Nail; and a host of nieces and nephews.

Brenda is reunited in Heaven with her parents, the Reverend and Mrs. Curtis Bowers (Dorothy) and her sister Michelle Bowers Cargile.

Brenda’s sister, Michelle, went to be with our Lord only 75 days before Brenda. After Michelle’s passing, Brenda always noticed butterflies and felt comforted as they reminded her of her sister’s spirit. May we find that same comfort in remembrance of Brenda. The butterfly is a symbol of spiritual rebirth and nothing could describe Brenda’s journey better.

We will miss Brenda’s caring and compassionate soul on this Earth. We will miss the warmth and reassurance her presence could bring. But every time we see a butterfly, we will think of Brenda and smile.

Be still, and know that I am God ~ Psalm 46:10
