Doan Lynn Graham Merritt of Eva passed away at her residence Wednesday, Nov. 11, 2020 at the age of 70.
Doan cherished her family and found great joy in spending time with all of them. She loved to spread the word of Jesus Christ to everyone and also loved to go fishing. Doan was a hardworking, outspoken woman and was known as one of the best dry wall finishers to all those who worked with her. She will be greatly missed by many.
She was preceded in death by her parents Hamp and Ruby Graham; brother Robert Graham; sisters Iva Nell Graham and Sarah Phillips; and grandson Brandon Veal.
Survivors include her children Tony Veal, Tracy (Bob) Reed, Tina (Kevin) Butler and Dwight (Pam) Slaten; grandchildren Josh (Stephanie) Veal, Kristie (Chris) Edmonson, Kandice Keeton, Kassie (Jason) Roberson, Larry (Ashley) Butler, Dustin (Mary) Butler, Wesley (Terra) Graham and Oakley (Amanda) Graham; and great-grandchildren Kinzie and Madison Veal, Esther, Ellis and Izabella Edmonson, Cayden Keeton, DJ, Abagail and Lucas Butler, Dakota, Konner and Ally Veal, Ally, Kooper, Jaxson, Daxton Graham and Addison Graham; and her beloved dogs Ruby and Tank.
Her Celebration of Life Funeral Service will be Sunday, Nov. 15, 2020 at 2 p.m. in the chapel of Moss Service Funeral Home with Shane Hicks officiating. Burial will follow at Bethel Cemetery.
Visitation will be prior to the service beginning at noon.
Pallbearers will be Tony Veal, Tracy Reed, Tina Butler, Dwight Slaten, Josh Veal, Larry Butler, and Dustin Butler.
