Private family funeral services for Phillip Andrew Carden, 61, of Cullman will be at 1 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 5, 2020 at Cullman Funeral Home Chapel with interment in Bethsadia Baptist Cemetery, Bro. Scott Sessions officiating.
Cullman Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
Mr. Carden passed away Friday, Oct. 30, 2020 at North Alabama Medical Center.
He was born Aug. 31, 1959 to Lester Lonell and Vivian Onzell Strickland Carden.
He was a member of Cullman First Church of the Nazarene. He was a member of the Cullman County 2019 Sports Hall of Fame. Phillip was a devoted son, brother, husband, father, and pop.
He was preceded in death by his parents and a sister Delwin Burdette.
Survivors include his wife of 27 years, Vicky Harbison Carden; daughters Courtney (David) Lambert, Hanna Carden, and Haley Carden; brothers Harry (Judie) Carden and Bruce (Deena) Carden; grandchildren Hamilton Lambert and Charlee Lambert; and a host of nieces, nephews, family, and friends.
Visitation will be Thursday at Cullman Funeral Home from 11 a.m.-1 p.m. Everyone is requested to wear a mask and practice social distancing.
