Ivey will be in Cullman Monday for Reliance Worldwide expansion groundbreaking

CULLMAN, Ala. – Alabama Gov. Kay Ivey will be in Cullman Monday, Oct 5 for a groundbreaking ceremony for Reliance Worldwide’s expansion. The project includes the expansion of Reliance Worldwide’s existing Cullman presence, as well as a new 300,000-square-foot distribution facility.

According to the Governor’s Office, the total project impact is approximately $24 million, and it will create 130 new jobs.

Reliance Worldwide Corporation is a global provider of water control systems and plumbing solutions for domestic, commercial and industrial applications. Ivey, through the Alabama Department of Economic and Community Affairs (ADECA) Community Development Block Grant program, previously awarded $100,000 and will be allocating an additional $500,000 to help pave the way for this project.

Joining Ivey will be ADECA Director Kenneth Boswell, Cullman Mayor Woody Jacobs and Reliance Worldwide Corporation CEO Sean McClenaghan, as well as other local officials and economic developers.

The event will be closed to the public; however, local media will be onsite.
