PREP CROSS COUNTRY: Eagles, Lady Eagles, Saints capture team crowns at Kudzu Hills

BREMEN, Ala. – This year’s edition of the Kudzu Hills Invitational ran at Cold Springs High School Saturday morning and both the Eagles and Lady Eagles captured team wins in the 1A-2A division. Meanwhile, in the 3A-4A race, the St. Bernard Saints took first place over Altamont.

Several local individuals shined Saturday morning as well. Cold Springs’ Reagan Parris was your 1A-2A girls’ winner with a time of 20:58.20 while in the boys’ race, fellow Eagle Ethan Edgeworth took home the individual crown with a time of 16:27.18. In the 3A-4A boys’ division, Vinemont’s Ethan Lemons was the first to cross the line after posting a 16:28.12 and in the girls’ race, Lady Eagle Kendall Harbison placed second with a time of 21:31.11. St. Bernard’s Joseph Arriaga also collected a third place while Madilyn Kerber took home a fourth-place finish in the girls’ race. Fairview’s Peyton Bailey stood out in the 5A-7A division after running a 16:58.60 to place second.
