Mr. Finch

CULLMAN, Ala. – The Cullman County Animal Shelter’s Donna Ruttkay shares The Cullman Tribune Pet of the Week:

Mr. Finch is a 2-year-old Heeler mix. He’s a lively-but-not-hyper, medium-energy pet who’s attentive and athletic, skilled on his leash and has good spatial awareness. He thrives on human interaction, encouragement and love. According to Ruttkay, “His nature requires and invites you to share in whatever activity he’s engaged in; he truly loves life. His faith will encourage you to walk through life with confidence.”

Mr. Finch has the makings of a good therapy, companion or hiking dog.

Discount doggie!

Mr. Finch has already been neutered, so his adoption fee will be greatly reduced! Ruttkay noted, “That is not indicative of his worth; he’s a gem!” Contact the shelter for details.

Animal shelter staff and volunteers work with their dogs to make sure they are accustomed to being around people, walking on a leash and practicing good behavior. Several of the shelter’s canine friends have even been “hired” to work as therapy and special needs service dogs.

Please consider adopting, to give a rescued pet a chance at a happy and healthy life.
