Agnes Fortner Tipton, 89, of Holly Pond passed away Sept. 15, 2020. She was born Dec. 9, 1930 in Cullman County to John W. and Ada Cochran Fortner.
Mrs. Tipton was a member of Brooklyn Presbyterian Church.
Agnes is preceded in death by her parents John W. and Ada Cochran Fortner; her husband Ray Tipton; brothers Johnny Fortner and Millard Fortner; and four sisters Betty Simms, Valera Gibson, Lola Preston, and Rachel Henry.
She is survived by her son Timothy Ray Tipton.
Graveside services will be held 2 p.m. Friday, Sept. 18, 2020 at Brooklyn Cemetery with Chris Washburn officiating.
