Funeral service for Lawrence Looney Humphrey, 88, of Guntersville will be at 2 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 20, 2020 at Cullman Funeral Home Chapel with interment in Etha Cemetery; Rev. Albert Estes officiating.
Cullman Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
Mr. Humphrey passed away Tuesday, Aug. 18, 2020 at Barfield Healthcare. He was born Sept. 1, 1931 to Charlie and Lurlean Kemp Humphrey.
He served his country in the United States Army and served in the Korean War. He loved life and loved to dance.
He was preceded in death by his parents; brother Clarence Humphrey; and sisters Pauline Jeffers, Martha Taylor.
Survivors include his son Steven Humphrey; brother Charles Leon (Murriel) Humphrey; sister Phyllis Hudgins; one grandchild; four great-grandchildren; special friends Duke (Teresa) Spain; and family and friends.
Visitation will be Thursday at Cullman Funeral Home from noon-2 p.m.
